What should a quality assurance tool help you do?
Call center quality assurance is the process of reviewing customer conversations against an agreed standard. A useful review covers what the agent did, what the customer needed and whether a clear next step was established. The score makes reviews comparable; the explanation makes them useful.
AUDIO combines call summaries, searchable transcripts, weighted evaluation criteria and customer context. Managers can move from a quality signal to the conversation behind it, then prepare a debrief with the agent.
Define a scorecard your team can actually use.
Start with observable behaviours: clarifying the request, checking understanding, proposing an appropriate response and agreeing a next step. Give greater weight to the behaviours that matter most for that department. A sales call and a delivery enquiry need different expectations.
AUDIO supports configurable analysis fields and weighted scoring rules by department and call direction. Call quality is scored out of 10. Test the grid on representative calls and discuss disagreements before using it for regular coaching.
Review the calls that deserve your attention.
A team average can conceal a repeated frustration or a buying need that went unexplored. Look at the distribution of quality scores alongside customer frustration, departments and recurring issues. Use filters to build a focused review list.
In AUDIO, managers can filter calls for missed sales opportunities, upsell signals and frustrated customers, then read the context. These signals guide a review; they do not establish that a customer will buy or that an agent caused every problem.
Connect the finding to a debrief and practice.
Choose one behaviour to work on. Attach the relevant call to a debrief, write an objective and agree when to review progress. This creates a concrete link between the assessment and the next conversation.
AUDIO also offers AI role-play training, available now. Agents can practice a scenario with a simulated customer, receive feedback and repeat it. Managers review progress and validate levels. Practice scores are out of 100 and should be considered separately from real-call quality scores.
What to check in a product demonstration.
Bring a small, representative sample of your workflows and a draft evaluation grid. Include a straightforward enquiry, an unresolved issue and a commercial opportunity. Ask to see how a manager moves from an overview to the evidence and then to an action.
- Can we explain every criterion and its weight?
- Can we find the conversation and relevant transcript passage?
- Can we distinguish quality issues from customer frustration?
- Can the manager turn the finding into a debrief or training objective?
- Which data, telephony connections and permissions are needed for our deployment?
Questions managers ask.
Does AUDIO replace the quality manager?
No. AUDIO helps surface and structure information. Managers define the standards, review the context and decide which coaching actions are appropriate.
Can different departments use different criteria?
Yes. Evaluation fields and scoring rules can be configured for departments and call direction. Agree the scope and test the criteria during setup.
How do we assess whether the approach is working?
Follow the behaviours you are coaching, review comparable call samples and track the customer outcome alongside quality scores. A higher average alone does not prove better customer service.
